Howelsen Hill Lift Tickets
Howelsen Hill Ski Area offers two types of lift tickets: Day lift tickets and Season Pass.
Day Lift Tickets
Day lift tickets can be purchased by visiting the Howelsen Hill Ticket Office during regular operating hours. The ticket office is conveniently situated in the northwest corner of the parking lot near the main entrance.
Day lift ticket price range from $31-$43 (prices are subject to change). Children aged four and under can ski for free.

Season Pass
Howelsen Hill Season Passes allow you to ski all season long at the Howelsen Hill area as long as the ski resort is open. There are three purchase options available:
- Alpine Pass: Lift access only
- Nordic Pass: Nordic access only
- Alpine and Nordic Pass: Lift and Nordic access

- No Blackout Dates
- 3 full-day tickets once per season at partner resorts (Hogadon Basin Ski Area, Mont du Lac, Snow King Mountain, Snow Valley, and Sunlight)
Ski Free Sunday
During the winter season, Howelsen Hill offers Free Skiing Sunday. To access the lifts and Nordic trails on these designated ski free days, a ticket must be obtained from the ticket office.

Nearest Town to Howelsen Hill
Howelsen Hill Ski Area is conveniently located in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which is around a 157-mile drive from Denver. On the southeast side of town, you will find the renowned Steamboat Ski Resort, which is one of the largest and most popular resorts in the state. There is also a complimentary shuttle bus service that operates between the town and Steamboat Ski Resort.
