Tips

• There are no elevators to the second floor
• You'll find a stuffed animal in your room, but don't get attached if you don't intend to buy your new friend
• There isn't a lot of space at the bar
• Guests can access a modest exercise room
• Fireplaces are available in your sitting area

Location

This inn sits at the western end of Galena, a 20-minute drive from the slopes at Chestnut Mountain, alongside a strip mall containing a Piggly Wiggly and a few restaurants. You can easily get onto the highway from here, as it is only about a block away from the property. The downtown Galena area offers more dining and drinking options, as well as more shops and entertainment.

• Within walking distance: A McDonald's, a Piggly Wiggly, a Chinese buffet and a Mexican restaurant
• Transportation: There is a property shuttle that will ferry you around town, but you will probably want a car to get you into the resort in a timely fashion
